Fall 2008 First Year Students Testing Dates

We are delighted that you have decided to attend Rutgers-Newark. The following reminders are provided to assure your smooth transition through the placement testing process.

1. You should immediately confirm your enrollment by going to the Your Rutgers Status webpage, or by mailing your Acknowledgement Letter and Acceptance Fee to the Office of Admissions.
2. Advanced online sign-up is required for all testing sessions.
3. You must sign-up for a testing date at least 24 hours before the actual event, provided space is available.
4. In order to sign-up for a testing session, you will be asked to provide your Rutgers University Identification Number, also known as your RUID. Your RUID can be accessed via the Your Rutgers Status webpage.
5. You must bring a valid form of Photo ID (driver license, passport, high school ID) in order to take the placement exams. Students who do not have proper identification will not be allowed to take the placement exams.

Take time to brush up on your math skills so that you may do as well as possible on your mathematics placement test.

A letter will be provided at the testing site in order to document your absence from school.
