Overnight Orientation

The New Student Overnight Orientation is a program designed for students eager to experience life in the residence halls, make connections with other students, and gain a greater knowledge of the Rutgers-Newark community.

This program is optional, but highly encouraged. Space is limited, therefore we encourage you to register as soon as possible. The program will include: dinner, residence life community information, use of the Athletic & Recreation Center, and the Paul Robeson Campus Center, midnight snack and movies, brunch in the morning, and much more!

You will be provided with air conditioned residence hall accommodations and the following items:
1 towel
1 wash cloth
2 sheets
1 pillow
1 blanket
1 pillow case
1 bar of soap

Please bring toiletries (shower items, toothbrush, etc), comfortable shoes and clothes, bathing suit (if you would like to swim), alarm clock, pajamas, and clothes for Friday.

The Overnight Orientation is on Thursday, June 26, 2008. Check-in begins at 4:30pm in the Stonsby Hall Lounge. If you are attending the daytime orientation/registration program on another day (i.e. June 16, 18, 24th), you can still come back and attend the Overnight Orientation Program on June 26th.

The Overnight Cost for Accommodations and Meals is $50.00.
